A graveside service for Mr. Fennie Monroe Perkins, 83, of Farmerville, La., will be held on Tuesday, September 14, 2021, 10:00 AM at Liberty Cemetery in Linville, La. Bro. Robert Davis will be officiating the service.

Mr. Fennie Perkins passed away on Thursday, September 9, 2021. Mr. Fennie was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He loved his family dearly and they meant the world to him. He was a faithful member of Franklin Street Baptist Church and was a retired off shore welder in the Oil & Gas Industry. He also served in the United States Army. Mr. Fennie was dearly loved and will be missed by many.

Mr. Fennie is preceded in death by: his parents, Sebe Monroe and Eula Blackmon Perkins; his step-daughter, Sylvia Caldwell; and his granddaughter, Jennifer Smith.

Survivors include: his loving wife of 42 years, Clara Platt Perkins; his three children, Joel S. Perkins (Teresa), Bradley Adam Smith (Stephanie) and Charlie Smith (Kimberly); his sister, Carol Holsing; his brother, W.E. Perkins (Betty); nine grandchildren, Mathew Perkins, Joshua Perkins, Caleb Smith, Paige Smith, Annistyn Smith, Laila Bearden, Brooklyn Hicks, Bryson Smith and Brok Smith; along with numerous family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Monday, September 13, 2021, 5:00 – 7:00 PM at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel in Farmerville, La.
