Evelyn Janette Brehm, departed this life here on earth on March 3, 2025 to be with Jesus throughout all eternity. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, March 8, 2025 at Farrar Funeral Home with Bro. Harlin Knight officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Nebo Cemetery, under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home of Farmerville, La.

Evelyn attended Eureka School. She was employed with Stemco Manufacturing Company for 33 years in Longview, Texas where she later retired. She enjoyed singing and many said Evelyn sounded like Loretta Lynn. Evelyn was a very generous, happy, loving person. She was an excellent cook and also enjoyed life to the fullest.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents: Wesley Loyd and Emiley Elaine Tedeton Pylant; sisters: Brenda Polk and Jessie Mae Holland; and her brother: Jimmy Dale Pylant.

She is survived by her two sons: Michael Brehm (Tracy) and Jeffrey Brehm (Heather); six grandchildren: Kalin Mullis (Ross), Ashleigh Mewhinney, Kyleigh Brehm, Taylor Brehm, Noell Ogden, and Landon Ogden; six great grandchildren: Vanessa, Caden, Elijah, Hudson, Mia, and Rowen; and two brothers: Wesley Glenn Pylant and Travis Gerald Pylant.

Visitation will be prior to the service at 12:30 PM, Saturday, March 8, 2025 at Farrar Funeral Home.
