Funeral services for Ethel Beaird Stone, 95, of Bernice, formally of Spearsville, will be held at 2:00pm, Saturday, November 12, 2016 at Mt. Union Baptist Church with Bro. Jared Hawthorne and Bro. Marcell McGee officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Union Cemetery under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home in Farmerville.

Mrs. Stone, a homemaker, went to her heavenly home on November 10, 2016. She was a member of Mt. Union Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Stone; one daughter, Lonie Evelyn Kay; two sons-in-law, Bobby Cook and J.R. Oakes; her parents; two brothers; and ten sisters.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Juanita Oakes of Homer, La.; son-in-law, Thomas Roland Kay of Hico, La.; three grandchildren, Cindy Corley of Hico, La., Kim Elliott and husband, Robert of Bernice, La., and Mark Kay of Hico, La.; six great-grandchildren, Grant Corley, Jill Corley, Michael Elliott & wife, Candace, Morgan Moore & husband, Jeremy, Thomas Kay and Nicole Kay; two great-great grandchildren, Brock Moore and Jolie Moore; and numerous other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be from noon until time of the service at Mt. Union Baptist Church.
