Funeral services for Ernest Ralph Ramsey, Jr., 80, of Laran will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, December 13, 2019 at Hopewell Baptist Church with Bro. David Martin and Bro. J.L. Foster officiating. Interment will follow in the Laran Cemetery under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home in Farmerville.

Mr. Ramsey went to his heavenly home on December 10, 2019. Junior was a longtime, active member and Deacon of Hopewell Baptist Church. He loved hunting and fishing and truly loved his family.

Mr. Ramsey was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph & Gladys Ramsey; and brother, John H. Ramsey.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 58 years, Lynette Ramsey; four children, Keith Ramsey & wife, Tilly, Kenneth Ramsey & wife, Chantay, DeWayne Ramsey & wife, Tammy and Donna Banks & husband, Randy; thirteen grandchildren, Lee Ann Goss, Justin Ramsey, Tyler Banks, Annah Marie Ramsey, P.J. Ramsey, Shelby Banks, Cody Ramsey, Hunter Ramsey, Meagan Jerry, Blake Ramsey, Taylor Fitzgerald, Shauna Muraco and Danielle Fuller; fifteen great-grandchildren; brother, Billy Wayne Ramsey & wife, Inez; brother-in-law, Bill Cranford and wife, Charlotte; mother-in-law, Helen Ramsey; and a host of other family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Tyler Banks, Justin Ramsey, Blake Ramsey, Cody Ramsey, Hunter Ramsey, P.J. Ramsey and Brandon Goss.

Visitation will be held Thursday, December 12, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. ~ 8:00 p.m. at Hopewell Baptist Church.
