A funeral service for Mrs. Elnora "Ellie" J. Reeves, 59, of Farmerville, La. will be held on Thursday, December 23, 2021, 2:00 PM, at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel in Farmerville, La. with Bro. Aleck Nyegaard officiating the service. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Marion, La. under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 23, 2021, 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel in Farmerville, La.

Mrs. Elnora "Ellie" Reeves passed away on December 20, 2021. Mrs. Elnora was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved to draw and paint, and she enjoyed art. She also enjoyed music. Elnora's favorite singer was Loretta Lynn, and she was able to meet her at a concert in Germany. Mrs. Elnora loved her pets, Bär (Bear) and Jewel, and she loved collecting rocks and shot glasses from different states. She enjoyed spending a lot of time with her granddaughters, and when they were younger, the granddaughters would sneak out of their house to visit Meme. Elnora was loved by many and will be dearly missed.

Elnora was preceded in death by her son, Shawn Henry Reeves, Jr.; parents, Thomas and Elnora Jones; and brother, Thomas Jones, Jr.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 40 years, Shawn Reeves; daughter, Ellie Bearden (Mark); grandchildren, Lacy Aldridge, Kaila Aldridge, Shawn Bearden, and Mark Bearden, Jr.; great-grandchildren, Paisley Brooke Aldridge, Nicholas Pittman, Emily Pittman, and Joseph Pittman; siblings, Debora Munoz (Tony), Ruby Gray, Sheila Aguirre, and Laurie Slaven (Mike); her four-legged children, Bär (Bear) and Jewel; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of other family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Josh Whitner, Scott Tucker, Wendell Hodge, Cade Nolan, Jimmy Aulds, and Shawn Reeves. Honorary pallbearers will be Aleck Nyegaard and Paul Dodd.
