A graveside service for Mr. Elmer Anthony Battaglia, age 67 of Farmerville, LA, will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, June 7, 2024 at Riverside Cemetery in Monroe, LA with Bro. Kevin Sanders officiating, under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home.

Mr. Elmer retired from Graphic Package after over 20 years of working there. He also worked in the oilfield. Mr. Elmer was a very private man. He built his own Harley Davidson and was born to ride. He loved his family dearly and he will be dearly missed.

Mr. Elmer was preceded in death by his father, Jack Battaglia, Sr.; grandsons, De'Lynn and Edwin Battaglia; nephew, Dalton Hunt; and numerous brothers and sisters.

He is survived by his mother and step father, Shirley Bell and Billy; daughters, Leighla and Selina Battaglia; grandchildren, Anthony Peoples, Jathan Peoples, MaKayla Battaglia, and Demetri Jackson; numerous great grandchildren; two sisters, Becky Hunt (Ronnie), and Debra Gammill; brother, Guy Bell (Lorie), and numerous nieces and nephews.

Serving as pallbearers will be Leighla Battaglia, Anthong Peoples, Ronnie Hunt, Guy Bell, Billy Bell, and Brandon Bell. Honorary pallbearer will be Bo Davis.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, prior to the service, Friday, June 7, 2024 at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel.
