A funeral service for Mrs. Ellen Lowery, 94, of Bernice, La. will be held on Saturday, December 18, 2021, 2:00 PM at Farmerville First Assembly of God in Farmerville, La. with Bro. Robbie Lawson officiating the service. Interment will follow in Mt. Patrick Cemetery in Bernice, La. under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 18, 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Farmerville First Assembly of God prior to the funeral service.

Mrs. Ellen Lowery passed away on December 14, 2021. Mrs. Ellen was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a friendly person with a generous and helpful spirit, and she had a great Christian witness. Ellen was nicknamed "The Blue Streak" because she liked to drive fast. Many will remember her as "The Bling-Bling Lady" because she was always dressed to a tee. Mrs. Ellen was dearly loved and will be missed by many.

Ellen was preceded in death by her husband, Everett Lowery; parents, Charles and Martha Martin; and siblings, James Martin and Bonnie Cook.

Those left to cherish her memory include her two sons, Joe Lowery (Norma), and James Lowery (Jana); four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of other family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Zack Adams, Jakob Adams, Jonah Adams, Craig McCarty, James Lowery, and

Joe Lowery.
