Funeral services for Edward "Doc" Elliott, 89, of Stonewall will be held at 1:00pm, Saturday, July 8, 2017 at Pisgah Baptist Church with Bro. Ron Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Pisgah Cemetery under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home in Farmerville.

Mr. Elliott, a retired truck driver, went to his heavenly home July 3, 2017. He was a member of Mission Point Baptist Church in Stonewall, the American Legion and the V.F.W. He enjoyed gardening, reading and fishing. Doc was the best husband and dad.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Alcander & Ruby Elliott; one son, Steven Earl Elliott; one brother, Adrian Elliott; one son-in-law, Jerry Lillo.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 40 years, Lynne Elliott of Stonewall; four sons, Robert D. Elliott & wife, Kim of Bernice, Michael R. Elliott & wife, Dana of Stonewall, Perry E. Elliott & wife Debbie of Shreveport, and Jamie V. Elliott of Stonewall; three daughters, Cindy Lillo of West Monroe, Melinda Sproule & husband Carl of Choudrant, and Melissa Elliott of West Monroe; twelve grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; four special babies, Choo-Choo, Buster, Speck and Bo Willie; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other friends.

Pallbearers will be Joey Sherrill, Michael Elliott, Jeremy Moore, Johnathon Young, David Young and Jeremy Niebrugge.

Visitation is from 11:00 til time of the service at Pisgah Baptist Church.
