Graveside services for Edward "Eddie" Dewayne Rogers, 62, of Swansea, Ma., will be held at     3:00 p.m., Friday, October 23, 2020 at Holmesville Cemetery with Bro. Byron Boykin and Bro. Jerry Whitman officiating.  Arrangements are under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home in Farmerville.

Mr. Rogers passed away on October 12, 2020.  Eddie was very active in his church, Christ Temple, where he also served as an Elder.  He loved to ride his motorcycle, having traveled cross country on his Moto Guzzi from Massachusetts to California.  He loved to sing and wrote Christian music.   Eddie also enjoyed restoring old motor bikes.

Mr. Rogers was preceded in death by his mother, Deloys Rateliff Rogers; brother, Reese Rogers; and niece, Amber Cox.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Terry Oliveira Rogers; father, Maurice Rogers; sister, Susan Cox (Rickie) and Judy Taylor (David); brother, Steven Rogers (Stacy); nieces and nephews, Michael Taylor, Julie Spillers (Jason), Adam Taylor, Reese Rogers, Hayden Stephens and Taylor Stephens; father & mother-in-law, Jose' & Rosemary Oliveria; sister & brother-in-law, Barbara Souza (Mike); and a host of other family and friends.
