Graveside services for Mr. Eddie David McKinnie, age 80 of Farmerville, LA, will be held at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, April 1, 2025 at Liberty Baptist Cemetery in Linville with Bro. Aleck Nyegaard officiating. Services will be under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home.

Eddie was a loving and caring husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He loving fishing, working in the yard, and traveling; his favorite destination was Niagara Falls. Eddie was the type of person you could always depend on to help you do whatever was needed, from carpenter work to taxiing around his coworkers. He was a man of few words and he didn't often show emotions, but you always knew he loved you.

Eddie was preceded in death by his parents: Claudis Dawkins and Ida Lee Pilgreen McKinnie; sister: Claudia Snell; and brother: Billy George McKinnie.

He is survived by his wife; Judy McKinnie; children: Sondi Shrum (Dwayne), Jamie Smith, and Nikki Powell (Ryan); step children: Bo Bo Kilcrease, Mark Kilcrease (Jennifer), and Brenda Johnson (J.J.); sisters: Ann smith (Danny) and Sarah Marshall (Charley); 17 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of other family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Monday, March 31, 2025 at Farrar Funeral Home.
