Funeral services for Edward "Ed" Earl Hall, age 90 of Marion, LA, will be held at 2:00 PM, Tueday, December 30, 2025 at Dean Baptist Church with Bro. Aleck Nyegaard  and Bro. Jed Rhodes officiating. Interment will follow at Reppond Cemetery in Marion,  under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home in Farmerville.

Edward Earl Hall was born July 23, 1935 to the union of John and Lillie Mae Hall. He was the fifth of ten children born to the Halls. Ed passed away December 26 at his residence in Marion. He was a beloved husband, father, brother and friend. He married the love of his life on  October 10, 1956 and was a faithful husband for 69 years to Mrs. Vivian Hall who preceded him in death by only four days.  Vivian surely welcomed him into their forever home in heaven when he left this earth. Ed is also preceded in death by his parents; and his siblings: Louise Myatt, G.L. Hall, and Jerry Hall.

Mr. Hall is survived by his children:  Shirley Geary, and Terry Hall; his granddaughter, Shea Meadows (Chris); his great grandchildren: Cassidy and Cameron Meadows; and his siblings: Jim Hall (Barbara), Mildred Hammett, Ruthie Bell (George), Karlyn Ulmer, Patsy Mann (Richard), Elsie Hurt (Phillip).

Ed will be remembered for his quick wit, his strong work ethic, his faithfulness to his wife,  and his strong faith in his Lord Jesus Christ. He was employed, the biggest portion of his life, in the oil and gas industry. He was a long time member of Dean Baptist Church.  His passing will leave a hole in the hearts of,  not only his family, but also the hearts of the entire community that he had called home for so many years. As long as he and Mrs Vivian were strong enough,  they could be found every Sunday morning on their pew at Dean Church. We all will miss him dearly, but we are grateful that he was not separated long from the love of his life, Mrs. Vivian.

Visitation will be Tuesday, December 30 from 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM prior to the funeral service, at Dean Baptist Church.
