Funeral services for Dwain Barron, 83, of Farmerville, La., will be Thursday, July 29, 2021, 10:00 AM at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel in Farmerville, La. Interment will follow at Farmerville Cemetery under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home of Farmerville La.

Mr. Dwain passed away on Tuesday, July 27, 2021. Mr. Dwain was a graduate of Louisiana Tech University with a degree in Geological Engineering. Dwain and his late wife, Linda, moved to Orange County, California where he practiced Electrical Engineering for 24 years. From there, he moved to Kingwood, Texas for a number of years. While he was in Texas, he worked for Scientific Drilling Co. where he later became a consultant. In 2003, he and Mrs. Linda moved back to Union Parish.

Mr. Barron is preceded in death by his loving wife of over 50 years; Linda Barron, and parents Guy and Lucille Rockett Barron.

Left to cherish his memory are his one son and daughter-in-law; Chris and Misty Barron, two grandchildren; Emma Barron and Kacey Barron, one brother; Glen Barron, one sister; Vernie Barron, and a host of other nieces, nephews, and other family members.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 28, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel in Farmerville La.
