Funeral services for Doyle Scarborough, 73, of Marion, La., will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, August 13, 2020 at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Paul Stephens officiating.  Interment will follow in Liberty Cemetery, in Linville, La., under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home in Farmerville.

Mr. Scarborough passed away on Monday, August 10, 2020 in Monroe, La.  He was an avid hunter and loved anything outdoors.  Mr. Scarborough loved traveling the backroads of Haile, La. and visiting with friends.

Mr. Scarborough was preceded in death by his wife, Pat Scarborough; parents, Clint & Myrt Scarborough; brother, Larry Scarborough; and son-in-law, Eddie Summerhill.

Left to cherish his memory are one daughter, Denise Summerhill; one sister, Betty Baker (George); two grandsons, Matthew Summerhill (Jenna) and Stephen Summerhill (Kirsty); three great-grandchildren, Kannon, Kase and Avery Summerhill; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends.

Pallbearers will be David Nowlin, Gary Harrell, William Spillers, Heath Snell, Dale Lusby and Mel Fuglaar.

Honorary pallbearers will be George Herring, Royce Dement and Ken Ebarb.

Visitation will be on Thursday, August 13, 2020 from 12:00 p.m. ~ 2:00 p.m. at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel.
