Funeral services for Dorothy Winstead Miller, 93, of Farmerville will be held at 3:00pm, Sunday, March 4, 2018 at Wards Chapel Church of Christ with Travis Arrant and Sam Beavers officiating. Burial will follow in Liberty Hill Taylor Cemetery under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home in Farmerville.

Mrs. Miller went to her heavenly home on February 28, 2018. Mrs. Miller worked for Whites Ferry Church of Christ – World Radio in West Monroe, La. for many years. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, sewing, crocheting and quilting. She loved her church and her family, above all.

Mrs. Miller was preceded in death by her loving husband of 47 years, Alva Cled Miller; parents, Isaiah & Luna Jordan Winstead; son, Gerald Alva Miller; six brothers; and four sisters.

Left to cherish her memory are one daughter, Laura Miller Beavers & Sam of Missouri; one daughter-in-law, Debbie Miller; one brother, Marion Winstead & Tippy of North Carolina; one sister, Vera Laughter & Joe of North Carolina; one brother-in-law, Milton Miller & Theresa of Texas; one sister-in-law, Beth Winstead of Florida; six grandchildren, Al Miller(Leigh), Miranda Miller Johnson(Josh), Matthew Beavers(Jennifer), Nathan Beavers, Julie Beavers Page(Brandon) and Michelle Miller; six great-grandchildren, Trinity, Katy, Ali, Jane, Abigail and Pacyn; two step great-grandchildren, Elijah and Mia; and a host of nieces, nephews and other family and friends.

The family would like to thank the many friends who care and attended to the many needs of Mrs. Miller.

Visitation will be from 2:00pm until time of service, Sunday, March 4, 2018 at Wards Chapel Church of Christ.
