Funeral services for Dorline Stansbury Cole, 86, of Farmerville will be held at 2:00pm, Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at Sardis Baptist Church with Bro. Kurt Auger and Bro. Bob Jackson officiating. Burial will be in Sardis Cemetery under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home in Farmerville.

Mrs. Cole passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 27 at Princeton Place in Ruston, La. She was born on November 12, 1930 to Albert & Carine Stansbury. Dorline and her late husband, Mr. Ed Cole, enjoyed running the Skating Rink in Farmerville on the weekends, even though neither one of them could skate. She loved all of her "kids" from the rink.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Ed Cole; daughter, Cheryl Cole; son, Lenard Cole; parents, Albert & Carine Bearden Stansbury; and three brothers.

Left to cherish her memory is one son, Ronnie Cole and wife, Jean of Ruston; two daughters, Belinda Cole Flowers and husband, Marvin of Dubach and Donna Cole of Farmerville; one sister, Peggy Ginn and husband, Linton of Farmerville; three sisters-in-law, Jo Stansbury, Joy Stansbury and Sue Stansbury; grandchildren, Julie, Jody, Laura, Lesli, Bo, Shelby, Tracy and Travis; great grandchildren, Jordon, Braden, Briley, Ethan, Sevren, Castor, Adam, Rusty, Bo, Stormy, Danzy, Memphis, and Alaiah; special daughter, Rene Hausley; and many other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be Brad Jones, Allen McDowell, James Hicks, Jerry Ray Stansbury and Tead Nugent.

Visitation will be from noon until the time of the service, Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at Sardis Baptist Church near Farmerville.
