A memorial service for Donna Jean Leigh, 75, of Bernice will be held at 2:00pm, Saturday, May 28, 2016 at Evergreen Baptist Church with Bro. Wayne Sistrunk officiating and under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home in Farmerville.

Ms. Leigh, a retired activities director, went to her heavenly home May 18, 2016. She was a member of Evergreen Baptist Church and was a volunteer with the Union Parish Triad. Donna enjoyed visiting the residents at the local nursing homes and was very involved with mission groups through her church. She truly loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and shared her love of Him to everyone. She was a loving mother, grandmother and sister.

She was preceded in death by her parents: John & Sedral Wortham; and husbands: Elmer Maisio and James Leigh.

Left to cherish her memory are her 2 sons, Mark Maisio & wife, Lana of Owatonna, MN and Matthew Maisio of Bernice, LA; 1 brother, John Wortham & wife, Karen of Spearsville, LA; 4 sisters: JoAnn Jones & husband Don of Mansfield, LA, Pat Ramsey of Farmerville, LA, Mary DeCelle & husband Jerry of Bernice, LA and Brenda Hall & husband Ernie also of Bernice, LA; 2 grandchildren: Emmalee and Abigail Maisio; and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
