Graveside services for Donald Eugene Hicks, Jr., 56, of Farmerville will be held at 2:00pm, Monday, January 9, 2017 at Enterprise cemetery with Bro. Kurt Auger officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home in Farmerville.

Mr. Hicks, a Mud Logger, went to his heavenly home on January 5, 2017. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Farmerville. Donald attended Chamberlin Hunt Academy and graduated from Ouachita High School. He was a Mud Logger by trade, traveling throughout the United States. He attended Southeastern State University and was more than an avid L.S.U. fan.

Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Melba Dumas Brashier and her husband, Dr. Clyde K. Brashier; one brother, David B. Hicks of Farmerville, La.; two sisters, Deborah K. Woods of New Port Richey, Fl. and Pamela Jean Yeckley & husband, Francis of Gettysburg, Pa.; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Pallbearers will be Gary Courson, Matt Townsend, Robert Simpson, George Upshaw, Bryan Upshaw, Tommy Oliver, John Burdue and David Hicks.

Visitation will be from noon til 1:30pm, Monday, January 9, 2017 at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel in Farmerville.
