Funeral services for Donald Jerome Futch, 85, of Beaumont, Texas will be held at 2:00pm, Sunday, November 11, 2018 at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jeff Hurst officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Tabor cemetery under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home in Farmerville.

Mr. Futch was born on April 22, 1933 and went to his heavenly home on November 6, 2018. Donald grew up in Union Parish and left the area in 1951. Mr. Futch served in the United States Air Force from March 1952 until December 1955. He retired from DuPont in Nederland, Tx. in 1991.

Mr. Futch spent the last twenty-seven years of his life making family his priority. He adamantly attended his grandchildren and great grandchildren's soccer games, softball games, volleyball games, baseball games, football games, piano recitals, dance recitals and basketball games. Mr. Futch loved sports and was an ardent fan of the Houston Astros. He never met a stranger and enjoyed sharing stories from his childhood in Farmerville. He looked forward to Friday morning coffee at Rao's Bakery in Beaumont with his fellow retired DuPont friends and anyone who wanted to join in.

Mr. Futch was preceded in death by his parents, Alma & Jesse Futch; and one sister, Dorothy.

Left to cherish his memory are the love of his life, his wife of 61 years, Okla Marie Futch; three daughters, Linda Guillory (David, Sr.), Debbie Warner (Nathan) and Judy Pannabecker (David); six grandchildren, David Guillory, Jr., Jesse Warner, Donathan Warner, Melinda Pannabecker, Kristin Pannabecker Thompson and Danielle Pannabecker; four great grandchildren, Alex Guillory, Trace Guillory, Ryleigh Guillory, Kennedy Warner, Mallary Warner and Ava Marie Thompson; one brother, Carl (Buck) Futch; and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends.

Pallbearers will be David Pannabecker, David Guillory, Jr., Alex Guillory, Jesse Warner, Donathan Warner and Joel Futch.

Visitation will be Sunday, November 11, 2018 from noon until time of service at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel.
