A funeral service for Mr. Donald Keith "Don" Williams, 51, of Bernice, La., will be held on Saturday, November 20, 2021, 2:00 PM at Zion Hill Baptist Church in Farmerville, La. with Bro. Andy Allred officiating the service. Interment will follow in Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home.

Don passed away on Thursday, November 18, 2021. Don graduated from Farmerville High School in 1989 and was an all-district baseball player. During his senior year, Don was awarded the MVP Skip Bergman award during a baseball camp. He attended Northwestern State University and was a member of the Demon baseball team.

Don was a licensed accident, health, home, liability, and life insurance agent, both residentially and commercially. Some of the companies he represented were Farm Bureau, Thomas & Farr Agency, Blue Cross and Blue Shield, and Arthur J. Gallagher Agency.

He was a lifelong member of the Bear Branch Hunting Club in Union Parish, where he was known for his cooking. He was famous for his fried fish and deer steak. Don was also a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church. He was a friend to many, and his easy, laid back manner was a great asset. Don was loved and will be dearly missed.

Don is preceded in death by: his father, Tommy Williams; his paternal grandparents, Robert and Rena Williams; and his maternal grandparents, Alton and Linnie Odom (Radford Ward).

Those left to cherish his memory include: his mother, Nell Odom Williams (Tandy Key); brother, Robert Williams (Rhonda); nephews, Morgan and Blake Williams; aunt and uncle, Ann and Larry Long; cousins, Deanna Milstead (Mark), and Linda Pardue (Troy); along with numerous friends and family.

Pallbearers will be: Robbie Compton, Buck Guillory, Scotty Key, Troy Pardue, Jeff Vandenberg, and John Kennedy. Honorary pallbearers will be: Chris Nolen, Robert Welch, Brad Brasher, Andre Nation, and the members of the Bear Branch Hunting Club.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 20, 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Zion Hill Baptist Church in Farmerville, La. prior to the funeral service.
