A memorial service for Don Smith Woods, Jr., formerly of Monroe, LA, will be held at 2:00 PM December 28, 2022 at Farmerville United Methodist Church with Bro. Alec Nyegaard officiating. Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until the time of service.

Mr. Woods was a 1976 graduate of Ouachita High School, and attended N.L.U in Monroe, LA. He had resided in North Carolina for many years and was employed with Revlon as an automation engineer. Don was an accomplished musician; he wrote songs and he played many instruments. His love for music began at the age of 10 when his father bought him his first guitar. During his lifetime he played with many bands.

Mr. Woods is preceded in death by his father; Don Woods, Sr.

He is survived by his daughter; Ladonna Castiglione and husband Corrado, his son; Don Woods III and wife Destiny, his loving mother; Catherine Simpson Woods, seven grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and two brothers; Robert "Bob" Woods and wife Chris and Jeff Woods and wife Mary Kay.
