Graveside services for Don Lanier, 90, of Farmerville were held at 6:00 p.m., Monday, July 6, 2020 at Culbertson Cemetery with Bro. Terry Mims officiating.  Arrangements were under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home of Farmerville.

Mr. Lanier passed away on Thursday, July 2, 2020 in Farmerville, La.  Mr. Don loved anything John Wayne and watching baseball.  He enjoyed joking around with others and was sometimes generous to a fault.  He made the best jellies and preserves.  Mr. Don truly loved his wife and family and was a good father and grandfather.

Mr. Lanier was preceded in death by his wife, Peggy Lanier; parents, Wood & Pearl Lanier; one brother; and three sisters.

Left to cherish his memory are two daughters, Sharon Porter and Kathy Jarrell (Daniel); three granddaughters, Wendi Washer (Paul), Christi Hogard (Kevin) and Hollie Porter Giroux; two grandsons, Brian Blaylock (Robin) and Brad Blaylock (Amy); numerous great-grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.
