Mrs. Dianne (Linda) Gulley, age 76, of Oakland, LA, passed away on August 25, 2023, following a long illness.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, August 29, 2023 at First Baptist Church in Marion, LA with Bro. Bubba Hoggatt officiating. Burial will follow at Springhill Cemetery in Oakland, LA, under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home.

Dianne was born on February 18, 1947, in El Dorado, AR, to Melvis and Mildred Murray. Soon after graduating from Marion High School, Dianne began working at Marion State Bank where she stayed for 51 years. Dianne enjoyed working in her community, helping others, and she cherished the many friends that she made there. She began playing the piano for church at age 12 and continued serving the Lord with this talent throughout the years until 2021.

Dianne was preceded in death by her parents, Melvis and Mildred; brothers, Perry (Mary and Shirley), Mack, Paul (Gloria), and Rickey; sister, Lou Etta; and son in law, Marty Littleton.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Robert Gulley; daughters, Lori Withers (Bruce), Amy Littleton and Danna Gulley; grandchildren, Hannah Johnson (Clint), Hayden Monk and Mallory Withers; sisters in law, Linda Murray, Icea Lee Murray, Charlene Foster, Jennifer Wicker (James), and Susan Edwards; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

The family offers a sincere thank you to all the doctors, nurses, and CNAs who cared for Dianne at St. Frances Northern Medical Center, and Union General Hospital.

Serving as pallbearers will be Bobby Earle Hicks, Bobby Dugal, James Wicker, Kenneth Franklin, Clint Johnson, Hayden Monk, and Rick Murray.

Visitation will be held at First Baptist Church of Marion from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Monday, August 28, 2023.
