Funeral services for Dennis "Bubba" Plummer, 47, will be held at 2:00pm Friday, March 25, 2016 at Dean Baptist Church in Marion with Bro. Don Reeves officiating. Burial will be in Liberty Cemetery in Linville under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home in Farmerville.

Mr. Plummer, a roughneck in the oilfield, went to his heavenly home March 22, 2016.

He was preceded in death by his father, Edward "Chop" Plummer, paternal grandparents: Buddy & Belle Plummer and maternal grandparents: Nell Wheelington and Willie Manning.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Carmen Plummer; son, Caleb Owen; daughter, Caitlin Plummer; 3 grandsons: Ryland, David & Caleb; his mother, Joyce Moore; 4 brothers: Billy "Peanut" Plummer & wife Lynne, Sam Zimm & wife Memi, Larry Joe Plummer & wife Lynn and Dee Sutton & wife Samantha; 2 sisters: Sharon Reeves & husband Emmett and Mary Moore; and special friends: David "Pisswillie" Roberson, Shane & Lisa Benson and Chris Ray.

Pallbearers will be Chris Fulton, Eric Moore, Jed Rhodes, Mike Jones, Lance Davis and Heath Davis. Honorary pallbearers are Ronnie Jones, Benny Ford and Dewey Rhodes.

Visitation is 5-9 pm Thursday at Dean Baptist Church.
