Debbie Hutson Silmon of Farmerville, LA passed peacefully in the arms of her Heavenly Father on Monday evening, August 29, 2016 following a lengthy illness.

Debbie had a heart of gold and a wide circle of family and friends to whom she was devoted. She will be dearly missed by so many people.

She was born in El Dorado, AR to Frank and Catherine Hutson and later was raised in the Farmerville area.

She was preceded in death by her father, Frank Hutson and grandparents, Lois & John Clinton Digby and Thelma & Fred Hutson.

Debbie is survived by her son, Jarvis Dean Silmon, Jr.; granddaughter, Marly Hodge; parents: Catherine & Leon Laskowski of Ruston; sister & caretaker, Bonita Hutson of Farmerville; aunts & uncles: Linda & Dr. Dan Reneau of Choudrant, LA and Betty & Vic Dubee of Godly, TX; step mother, Glenda Hutson of Farmerville; and a host of cousins and friends; and special friend, Jim Freeman.

Visitation is 5-8pm Wednesday, August 31st at Farrar Funeral Home. Her service is 3pm Thursday at Farrar Funeral Home with Bro. John Saunders and Bro. Kurt Auger officiating. Burial will follow in Pisgah Cemetery near Bernice under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home in Farmerville.

Pallbearers will be John Crow, Caleb Kelley, Johnny Anderson, John Richard Anderson, Mark Andrews, John Holloway, William Holloway, and Thomas Sevin. Honorary pallbearers are Daylon Ramsey and Chris LeBel.
