A memorial service for Mr. David Michael Wyatt, age 75 of Downsville, LA, will be held at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at Holmesville Baptist Church with Bro. Ricky Houck officiating.

David was a graduate of Farmerville High School. He worked at Jet Drilling Co., Exeter Company, Grey Wolf, Union Parish Landfill, and was an excellent drill and derrick hand. David was a greeter at Holmesville Baptist Church where he was a lifelong member. He was a hero to his family for saving his granddaughters life from drowning.

David was preceded in death by his loving parents, Estelle Howard and Mae Clair Hamilton Wyatt; and his son, Ricky Wyatt.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 55 years, Janice Wyatt, children, Vickie Traylor (Casey), and Kacee Anderson (Charlie); grandchildren, Jobe Traylor (Brooke), Jonah Traylor (Courtnie), Jania Smith (trey), Matthew Bryan (Sha Kala), Kylen Anderson, Robin Wyatt, and Richard Wyatt; great grandchildren, Bindi Smith, Kash Traylor, Ashton Williams, Jolene Williams, and Tatum Smith; and his loving brother, Bill Smith.

Serving as pallbearers will be Bill Smith, Jonah "Big White" Traylor, Jobe "Twinkle Toes" Traylor, Matthew "Icee" Bryan, Trey Smith, Kylen Anderson, Paul Adkins, Mike Boggs, Eddie Albritton, and Mike Haddox.

Visitation will be held at 8:30 AM, prior to the service, Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at Holmesville Baptist Church.
