A funeral service for Mr. Danny Skains, 70, of Farmerville, La., will be held on Wednesday, November 10, 2021, 2:00 PM at Sardis Baptist Church in Farmerville, La. Interment will follow in Sardis Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home.

Danny passed away on Saturday, November 6, 2021. Mr. Danny graduated from Farmerville High School in 1969. He worked as a carpenter contractor in our area for over 50 years. At the beginning of his career, he worked in the oil field. Mr. Danny was also an avid outdoorsman. He loved spending time with his family and friends, and he was a lifelong member of Sardis Baptist Church. Mr. Danny was loved by many and will be dearly missed.

Danny is preceded in death by: his parents, John O. and Orare Bearden Skains; his brothers, Bennie Skains, and Taylor "Puggy" Skains; his sister, Ruth Bearden Albritton; his brother-in-law, Marvin Albritton; and his grandchildren, Jayden Turner, and Waylon Thomas.

Those left to cherish his memory include: his loving wife, Deborah "Debbie" Impson Skains; his daughter, Wendy Dawn Skains; his son, Gage Mitchell Thomas; his step-daughters, Stacy Hogan (Jeremy), and Rusty Rachelle Thomas; his grandchildren, Patience Skains, Cadence Skains, Reagan Rice, Kristin Parker, Kaitlynn Turner, Ian Snell, Zoe Thomas, Dani, and Dylan; two sisters-in-law, Maxine Skains and Nan Skains; along with other numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Pallbearers for the service will be: Joey Marchant, Junior Beckham, John A. Skains, Jeremy Hogan, Clayton Parker, Gage Thomas, and Joe Bryan. Honorary pallbearers will be: Leonard Hayes, Bob Hall, Dan Wylie, members of the Farmerville AA Group, and members of the Local Carpenters Union of Baton Rouge.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 9, 2021, 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Sardis Baptist Church in Farmerville, La.
