Funeral services for Mr. Danny E. Tucker, age 75 of Farmerville, LA, will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, April 23, 2023 at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Kurt Auger and Bro. Robbie Lawson officiating. Burial will follow at Conway Cemetery under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home.

Mr. Danny went home to be with his Lord and Savior on April 20, 2023 at Glenwood Regional Medical Center in West Monroe, LA. He left a void in the hearts of his family that will never be filled, but the family takes comfort in knowing that he is no longer suffering and is reunited with family and friends who preceded him.

Danny had a fun personality that naturally made people want to be around him. He had many close friends; many of which worked with him at Claiborne Electric Cooperative in Farmerville, LA, where he retired from after 35 years of employment. Danny was an avid deer hunter, duck hunter, and fisherman until his health would no longer permit these activities. Family was important to Danny; he cherished his daughters and granddaughters and loved them dearly. He was a member of Conway Baptist Church in Marion, LA and was a member of the Masonic Lodge.

Danny is preceded in death by his wife of 37 years: Connie Tucker, his parents: Melba and George Earl Kyle, sister in law: Mary Matthews, nephews: Todd and Thad Matthews, and his mother and father in law: Ruth and George Lee.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife Gilda Fowler Tucker, daughters: Mandi Tucker Booth and Marcie Tucker Nale (Thad), granddaughters: Scarlet Thomas and Emma Thomas, his bother: George "Kim" Kyle (Shirley), nieces and nephews: Kelsey Kyle Rhodes (Dusty), Morgan Roberson, Allie Rhodes and J.D. Rhodes, Joe Booth who was like a son, step son: Michael Fowler, and brother in law: Jerry Matthews.

Serving as pallbearers will be Joe Booth, Thad Nale, Chris Snell, Daniel Kimbell, Jeremy Hobbs, and Nathan Wilson. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Mr. Danny's Claiborne Electric family.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM Saturday, April 22, 2023 at Farrar Funeral Home.
