Mr. Dan D. Adcock, 94, of Baton Rouge, La., passed away on Sunday, October 3, 2021. A funeral service for Mr. Dan Adcock will be held on Friday, October 8, 2021, 1:00 PM at Mt. Union Baptist Church in Spearsville, La. Interment will follow in the Mt. Union Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 8, 2021, 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM at Mt. Union Baptist Church in Spearsville, La.
Dan D. Adcock went to be with his heavenly Father, Sunday, October 3, 2021. He was born September 29, 1927 in Spearsville, Louisiana and was the oldest child of Noah and Rosalie Elkins Adcock, who preceded him in death. Mr. Adcock married the love of his life, Patty Jean McClain Adcock, August 19, 1949, and they were both members of Mt. Union Baptist Church. He was also a veteran, having served in World War II and the Korean War. He was a retired supervisor from Foster Grant, and later in life was a breeder of registered Simmental Cattle. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother who enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
He is preceded in death by: his wife, Patty Jean McClain Adcock and his daughter, Danna Jeanette Tucker.
He is survived by: his son, William T. Adcock and wife, Patty; grandchildren, Eric Adcock & wife, Brigette, Chris Adcock & wife, Lora, Michael Tanner & wife, Millie, and Rachael Thames & husband, Benton; son-in-law, Terry Tucker; grandsons, Kirk Tucker and John Tucker & wife, Wendi; great-grandchildren, Rylee Adcock, Jacob Adcock, Lilly Adcock, Kinsley Adcock, Blake Tanner, Kylee Tanner, Brody Tanner, Taylor Richardson, Avery Claire Tucker, Ainsley Tucker, and Finn Tucker. Mr. Dan is also survived by his sister, Melba Wesley and her husband, Percy.
Pallbearers will be: his grandsons, Kirk Tucker, John Tucker, Eric Adcock, Christ Adcock, Michael Tanner; and great-nephew, Cameron Wesley.
