A memorial service for Dale Bearden, age 74 of Farmerville, LA, will be held at a later date.

Dale was one of a kind and a jack of all trades. During his life, he worked as a carpenter and numerous construction projects. He was a truck driver, worked in the oil field as a motor man and  A.D. floor hand. Dale enjoyed church singings, get togethers, and he loved to fish.

Dale is survived by his three children, Stephanie Colson (Jimmy, Sr.), Shannon Murphy (Ricky), and Mark Bearden (Michele), special friend, Travis Jinks, two brothers: Stan Bearden (Johnette) and Steve Bearden (Sheryl), one sister, Jan Simpson (Dave), numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.

He is preceded by his parents, James and Zemma Sharpe Bearden.

A visitation was held from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, Monday, October 24, 2022 at Farrar Funeral Home in Farmerville, LA.
