A memorial service for Mr. Coleman Perry Malone will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, May 16, 2021 at Farmerville United Methodist Church with Bro. Hank Hamilton officiating.  Arrangements are under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home of Farmerville.

Mr. Coleman Perry Malone was born on September 23, 1928, in the Arizona Community in Claiborne Parish, Louisiana, to James Perry & Vera Robinson Malone, and passed away at his home in Farmerville, La. on May 12, 2021.  Mr. Malone was employed by Shell Oil Company as an Offshore Drilling Superintendent.  After retiring from Shell Oil, he then began a new career as a Timber Contractor.

Mr. Malone was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Marjorie Malone DeSordi; and brother, James William Malone.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 62 years, Inez Dodd Malone; children, Amelia Burton (Jimmy) of Shreveport, LaVerne Malone of Texas and Shellie Futch of Farmerville; six grandchildren, Tony Brantley (fiancee', Tina Williams) of Shreveport, LaShonda Graham, Chastyn Graham (Lisa), Jansen Graham, all of Texas, Todd Burton (Toni) of Alexandria and Traci Walters (Jerry) of Oklahoma; eleven great-grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.

The family would like to thank Melissa, Anna, Donald, David, Jayne and Coca of Elara Caring Hospice for the care and compassion shown.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Farmerville United Methodist Church or to the Methodist Children's Home.
