A graveside service for Mrs. Clara J. Platt Perkins, 81, of Farmerville, La., will be held on Wednesday, November 10, 2021, 10:00 AM at Liberty Cemetery in Linville, La. with Bro. Robert Davis officiating.

Mrs. Clara Perkins passed away on Saturday, November 6, 2021. Mrs. Clara loved her family and they meant the world to her. Mrs. Clara's earliest job was working at Baughman Drugs. Later, she moved to El Dorado, Ar. where she worked for Murphy Oil. She then finished her career at Farmerville First United Bank as an assistant vice president. She was a member of Franklin Street Baptist Church. Mrs. Clara was loved by many and will be dearly missed.

Mrs. Clara is preceded in death by: her husband of 42 years, Fennie Perkins; her parents, Arthur and Ophelia Taylor Platt; her daughter, Sylvia Smith; her granddaughter, Jennifer Smith; her brother, Jackie Platt; and her niece, Angela Brown.

Those left to cherish her memory include: her three sons, Joel Perkins (Teressa), Bradley Adam Smith (Stephanie), and Charlie Smith (Kim); her grandchildren, Matthew Perkins, Joshua Perkins, Paige Smith, Caleb Smith, Annistyn Smith, Laila Bearden, Brooklyn Hicks, Bryson Smith, and Brok Smith; her brothers, Billy Platt, and James Platt (Debbie); her sisters, Faye Osborne (Henry), Sarah Canales (Lionel), and Vicki Cole; along with numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Pallbearers for the service will be: Lionel Canales, Ryan Canales, Henry Osborne, Robert Lemoine, and Pete Reynolds.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 9, 2021, 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel in Farmerville, La.
