Funeral services for Mr. Christopher Floyd Garris, age 60 of Farmerville, LA, will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, April 15, 2026 at Farrar Funeral Home with Bro. Danny Hall officiating. Interment will follow at Camp Creek Cemetery under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home.

Christopher Floyd Garris, born November 8, 1965, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of compassion, faith, and love.

Christopher was a devoted son and a caring uncle who cherished his family deeply. His bond with his mother was especially meaningful—she was not only his parent but also his closest friend and constant source of strength and companionship.

For over 40 years, Christopher dedicated his life to serving others as a nurse. His commitment to caring for people went far beyond his profession; it was a true reflection of his kind and selfless heart. He touched countless lives with his compassion, patience, and unwavering dedication.

Christopher had a deep love for animals and found great joy in the companionship of his pets.

He also embraced life's simple pleasures—hiking through nature, expressing himself through painting, and taking road trips, whether carefully planned or spontaneous adventures. He lived with a spirit of curiosity and freedom that inspired those around him.

He was blessed with many friends who will remember him for his warmth, generosity, and genuine nature. Above all, Christopher was a man of faith who believed in and loved the Lord, drawing strength and guidance from his spiritual life.

Christopher will be remembered for his loving heart, his adventurous spirit, and his lifelong dedication to helping others. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Chris was preceded in death by his grandparents, Thelma and Conrad Garris and Otis and Agnes Beaird; cousins, Theresa Richardson, Pamela Brenner, Casey Beaird, and Billie Beaird; and his uncle, Ricky Beaird.

He is survived by his parents, C.C. and Liz Beaird Garris; sisters, Becky Stark and Beverly Brewer; nieces, Summer Perkins (Bryan), Pagan Peaks, and Taylor Brewer; nephew, Daniel Doss; great nieces, Haley Driskill and Carmen Fleming; and great nephews, Payton West, Landon Taylor, and Cayden Perkins.

Serving as pallbearers will be Bryan Perkins, Cayden Perkins, Jerome Williams, Daniel Doss, Gary Garris, Shamir Ellsworth, and Jerry Kelly.

Visitation will be held at 9:00 AM, prior to the service, Wednesday, April 15, 2026 at Farrar Funeral Home.
