A funeral service for Mrs. Charolette W. Thompson, age 73 of Bernice, LA, will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, July 14, 2023 at Evergreen Baptist Church in Bernice, LA with Bro. Daniel Barnes and Bro. Joe L. Jackson officiating. Burial will follow at Hebron Cemetery in Summerfield, LA under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home.

Mrs. Charolette was Chief Financial Officer at Reeves Memorial Medical Center for over 50 years; she held many titles and mentored so many people. She faithfully served Evergreen Baptist Church for many years as their Pianist. Early in her life she was the Choir Director for Hebron Baptist Church. Mrs. Charolette was a very loving, kind, and thoughtful person and loved her Lord.

Mrs. Charolette is preceded in death by her father: George Allen Wiltcher.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years: Ronald S. Thompson, mother: Doris Thomas Wiltcher, sister: Peggy W. Jackson and husband Joe L., niece: Calah Jackson, brother in law: Carl V. Thompson Jr. and wife Diane, and nephew: Mike Ellis and wife Karen.

Serving as pallbearers will be Phillip Ellis, Ernie Hall, Landon Crawford, Hayden Crawford, Hunt Nugent, and Mike Reeves. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Mike Ellis and James Laird.

Visitation will be held from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at Evergreen Baptist Church Friday, July 14, 2023.
