Funeral services for Charlotte Ann Fife, 77, of Dean will be held at 2:00pm, Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at Dean Baptist Church with Bro. Don Reeves and Bro. Robin Cox officiating. Burial will follow in Dean Cemetery under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home in Farmerville.

Mrs. Fife went to her heavenly home on September 9, 2018. Charlotte was a lifelong resident of Felsenthal, Ark. and Dean, La. She was a very dedicated wife, to Shelton Fife, of 54 years. She loved all kinds of animals, especially birds. She was a very crafty person and enjoyed painting and working with flowers. Charlotte was very active with her children and grandchildren and enjoyed going to all the sports that they participated in. She will be remembered for being loving, kind and as someone who opened her door to everyone.

Mrs. Fife was preceded in death by her parents, Arvin & Oma Webb Matthews; two grandchildren, Samuel VeJay Pace and Josephine Hendrix Fife; one brother, Charles Matthews; and three sisters, Janice Lane, Polly Gilmore and Lorene Miller.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 54 years, Shelton Fife of Dean, La.; one son, Shelton Fife, Jr. & wife, Brandi of Dean, La.; two daughters, Charlene Fife and Shelly Fife Miller & husband, Gary, all of Dean, La.; one brother, Dan Matthews of Jonesboro, Ar.; two grandchildren, ShelDon DeLane Fife and Shelby LaLane Fife; four great grandchildren, Amedee Claire Tatum, KayLea Laine Fife, Beaux DeLane Fife and Dalton Cane Gilmore; and a host of other family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Tommy Norris, Jarod Booker, Dustin Farr, Rob Perodeaux, Nicholas Pace, Ronnie Stripling and Robin Cox.

Visitation will be Tuesday, September 11, 2018 from 5:00pm – 8:00pm at Dean Baptist Church.
