Funeral services for Charles Robert Smith, 81, of Bernice will be held at 10:00am Friday, July 15, 2016 at Farrar Funeral Home with Bro. Wayne Sistrunk officiating. Burial will be in Red Wing Cemetery in Goodwill, LA under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home in Farmerville. (no procession)

Mr. Smith, a diesel mechanic, went to his heavenly home July 13th, 2016. He enjoyed fishing and hunting.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Bill Smith and Sadie Rose; sister, Elsie Alford, and 1st wife, Eunice Smith.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Ezel T. Smith of Bernice; 3 sons: Charles Earl Smith of Bernice, Kenneth R. Smith & wife, Melinda of Muriceville, TX and Michael W. Smith & wife, Patricia of Bernice, LA; 1 daughter, Theresa Lynn Griffin & husband, Ronnie of Vider, TX; 4 brothers: Al Holmes & wife, Mary Ann of Bienville, LA, James Smith & wife, Barbara also of Bienville; Doyle Smith & wife, Brenda of Castor, LA and Pete Rose & wife, Marsella of West Lake, LA; 1 sister, Gladys McFarland of Corpus Christie, TX; 3 step children: Angela Burroughs, Nichole Nobles and Bill Nobles; 7 grandchildren: Vonda, Ray, Pamela, Adam, Leslie, Mark, and Michael; 10 step grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Pallbearers will be Bill Nobles, Daniel Higginbotham, Chuck Peterson, Slade Peterson, Dennis Lannon and Charles Robert "Pony Boy" Peterson. Honorary pallbearers are Joe Peterson, Runt Peterson and Jay Peterson.

Visitation will begin at 8am Friday until time of service at Farrar Funeral Home.
