Obituary

Funeral services for Mr. Charles Edward Pace, age 86 of Marion, LA, will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, March 10, 2025 at Dean Baptist Church with Bro. Eugene Brown, Bro. Jed Rhodes, and Bro. Aleck Nyegaard officiating. Interment will follow at Liberty Linville Cemetery under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home in Farmerville, LA.

Mr. Charles was a graduate of Linville High School and was a member of Dean Baptist Church. Charles was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, raising pumpkins and dirt track racing. Charles sold fuel at four different North LA Racetracks. He enjoyed spending time with his family and he loved the Lord Jesus Christ. We know he is celebrating with him in Heaven today.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents: Ernest Sr. and Beatrice Pace; brother: Ernest Pace, Jr. and wife Barbara; sisters: Nonnie Norman and husband Clyde, Virginia Royal and husband Ray, and Agnes Pace; grandson: Samuel Pace; and great granddaughter: Kinley Pace.

He is survived by his wife of 66 years: Jo Ann Plummer Pace; sons: Neal Pace (Maureen) and Robert Pace (Anita); daughters: Annette Kullmer and Amy Cox (Phil); grandchildren: Bobby Pace (Krystal), Nicholas Pace (Sierra), Rhayne Maya (Elijah), Alex Kullmer, Ashley Baker (Matt), Amber Cox (Alex), Belle Kullmer (Connor), and Ally Kullmer; great grandchildren: Tyson Pace (Ra'Veon), Natalie Pace, Skyla Pace, Levi Pace, and Raimond Maya; and numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of other family and friends.

Serving as pallbearers will be Alex Kullmer, Ronnie Royal, Ike Lipscomb, Stevie Pace, Elvis Taylor, and David Nowlin. Honorary pallbearers will be his IMC/Angus Coworkers and the Dean Baptist Church Mens Class.

Visitation will be from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Sunday, March 9, 2025 at Dean Baptist Church.

The family would like to offer a special thanks to the owners and staff of Hicky Pit Café, NELA Rehabilitation Staff, the nurses and staff of Premier Hospice, Dean Baptist Church and Liberty Baptist Church.
