A memorial service for Charles Donald Cruse, 68, of Bernice will be held at 2:00pm Saturday, July 9, 2016 at First Assembly of God of Farmerville with Bro. Robbie Lawson officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home in Farmerville.

Mr. Cruse, a retired carpenter, went to his heavenly home July 2, 2016. He was a lifelong resident of Bernice & Farmerville, a member of Shiloh Baptist Church, enjoyed raising a garden, and loved his dogs.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Earl C. & Eula B. Cruse; 2 brothers: Lee and Eugene Cruse; 2 sisters: Mary Waller and Carolyn Marks.

Left to cherish his memory 1 one son, Donald Cruse of Farmerville; 1 daughter, Jennifer Cruse of West Monroe; 4 brothers: Pete Cruse of Marthaville, LA, James Cruse of Bernice, Billy Joe Cruse of Bernice, and Stanley Cruse of Bernice; 3 sisters: Reacy McNeese of Hallsville, TX, Sharon McDaniel of Longview, TX, and Dwana Hunnicutt of Missouri City, TX; 3 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Visitation will begin at 1:00pm Saturday at the church.
