Funeral services for Catherine Nell Upshaw, age 88 of Farmerville, Louisiana and will be held

at 2:00 p.m. Friday, September 23, 2022 at Farrar Funeral Home in Farmerville, Louisiana under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home with Bro. Robert McGaha officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Union Cemetery in Spearsville, Louisiana.

Mrs. Nell loved to spend time fishing and gardening. She enjoyed working with her flowers, was a master crocheter, and loved solving word searches. Nell also enjoyed canning and preserving things from her garden.

She is survived by her husband of 19 years Wilbur Upshaw, four daughters; Patricia Gerula, Brenda Gayle Harless, Rose Marie Hopper (Keith), and Tammy Wilkerson, two sons; Marvin Hopper (Brenda Kaye) and Tommy Hopper, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

Catherine is preceded in death by her parents; William Roland and Myrtle McDannell Harris, sons; James Edward Ivey Jr. and Charles P. Hopper III, brothers; W.R. Harris and H.P. Harris, and sister; Rose Marie Wilson.

Serving as pallbearers will be Robert Wayne Hopper, William Thomas Hopper II, Steve Allen Harless II, Dawson James Harless, and Clint Williamson. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Bryce Williamson and Colton Harless.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until time-of-service September 23, 2022 at Farrar Funeral Home.
