A memorial service for Brian Keith Gunter, 35, of Downsville, La., will be held on Saturday, November 27, 2021, 2:00 PM at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel in Farmerville, La. Visitation will be held on November 27, 2021, 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel in Farmerville, La. prior to the memorial service.

Brian passed away on November 16, 2021. He was a loving husband and father, and he enjoyed spending time with his wife and children. Brian loved hunting and fishing as well. He said that his goal in life was to make at least one person smile every day. Brian was dearly loved and will be missed by many.

Brian is preceded in death by: his mother, Lillie Gunter; his father, Charles Gunter; his brother, Justin Gunter; his father-in-law, Cliff "Pops" Charrier; his maternal grandparents, Clayton and Louie Mae White; his paternal grandparents, H.C. and Thelma Gunter; along with numerous close family members.

Those left to cherish his memory include: his wife of 18 years, Heather Gunter; his children, Kylee and Layton Gunter; his sister, Brandie Echols (Justin); his mother-in-law, Lauren Charrier; his sisters-in-law, Lindsay Marsala (Joey), and Jennifer Coats (Michael); his nieces and nephews, Zachary Millwee, Elijah Millwee, Samuel Millwee, Courtney Marsala, Tanner Charrier, Gavin Coats, and Ian Coats; along with numerous family members and friends.

Donations are being accepted towards the funeral expenses of Brain Gunter.
