A graveside service for Mrs. Bobbye Nell Cotton will be held on Saturday, February 19, 2022, 2:00 p.m., at Jolley Chapel Cemetery in Junction City, Arkansas.

Bobbye Nell Cotton, 84, lost her battle with cancer at her home in Conroe, Texas on February 14, 2022.  She fought this battle with strength, courage, and dignity.  Bobbye was born February 2, 1938 in Summerfield, Louisiana.  She graduated high school in Haynesville, Louisiana and then business school in Shreveport, Louisiana.  She married Charles (Chuck) Cotton, Sr. in 1958 after which they started their family with their son, Charles, Jr. and daughter, Patricia Diane.  In 1965, Bobbye began a career which she was very proud of, with Shell Oil, and retired after 27 years in 1993.  She spent her retirement enjoying her grandchildren, traveling, gardening, reading, and mostly spending time with her family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Willie Jesse Bishop and Lottie Doris Massey Bishop; her brothers, Jesse Bishop, George Albert Bishop, William Floyd Bishop, Jimmy Nolan Bishop and Clifford Aubrey Bishop; sisters, Zelma (Sally) Ray and Imogene (Jean) Hatcher.

She is survived by her husband, Chuck Cotton; children, Charlie Cotton and wife Pam of Conroe, Texas and Diane Bone and husband Greg of Conroe, Texas; grandchildren, Stephanie Sekel and husband Joseph of Humble, Texas, Alisha Hayden of Conroe, Texas, and Joshua Cotton and wife Sarah of Magnolia, Texas; great-grandchildren, Chase Hayden and fiancé Haily Lawhorn, Alexis Bess and husband Teddy, Riley Johnson, Daylin Manning, Jarin Martin, Hayes Cotton, and Saydee Martin; sisters, Doris Kennedy of Farmerville, Louisiana, Gloria Bishop of Junction City, Arkansas, and Yvonne Mitchell of Farmerville, Louisiana; along with numerous nieces and nephews who were very special to her.

Pallbearers will be Chase Hayden, Daylin Manning, Greg Bone, Jarin Martin, Freddy Hatcher, and Teddy Bess.
