A funeral service for Mr. Bobby Jewell Rogers, 83, of Farmerville, La., will be held on Tuesday, January 18, 2022, 2:00 PM at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel in Farmerville, La. with Elders Ken Hogan, Mike Meadows, and Brent Majeska officiating. Interment will follow in Ruggs Bluff Cemetery in Downsville, La. under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 18, 2022, 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel in Farmerville, La., prior to the funeral service.

Mr. Bobby passed away on January 13, 2022. Mr. Bobby was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army. He worked as a heavy equipment operator from the pipeline to construction. Bobby loved his pets, especially his coons. He was also a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Mr. Bobby was loved and will be dearly missed.

Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, Cedric and Mayme Powell Rogers; and brother, Robert Glen Rogers.

Those left to cherish his memory include his daughter, Lisa Byrnes (Scott); son, Daniel Rogers (Niki); five grandchildren, Jessica Novak (Adam), Jadan Byrnes, Mathew Balsamo (Vittoria), Chelsea Carter (Anthony), and Jason Evans; great-grandchildren, Jameson, Micah, Mack, Joseph, Sebastian, and Bogie; along with numerous family members and friends.
