Funeral services for Bobby G. Newsom, 84, of Marion will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 4, 2020 at Marion First Baptist Church with Bro. Bubba Hoggatt officiating. Interment will follow in Springhill Cemetery, near Marion, under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home in Farmerville.

Mr. Newsom went to his heavenly home on February 29, 2020. Mr. Newsom enjoyed hunting, watching his children and grandchildren play ball, and going to the dirt track and go-kart races.

Mr. Newsom was preceded in death by his parents, Leon & Ollie Newsom; brother, Kenneth Newsom; and daughter, Brenda Newsom.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 64 years, Marguerite Newsom; son, Scotty Newsom (Leah); daughter, Angela Knight (Mark); eight grandchildren, Brandon Albritton (Amanda), David Albritton (Leslie), Cory Reppond, Jeremy Newsom (Sarah), Landry Newsom, Kailey Reeves (Chandler), Logan Knight, Shelby Knight and Devin Liles (Mason); seven great-grandchildren; one great great-grandchild; and a host of other family and friends.

Pallbearers will be David Albritton, Cory Reppond, Jeremy Newsom, Landry Newsom, Logan Knight and Chance Albritton.

Honorary pallbearer will be Shelby Knight and Tyler Albritton.

Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. ~ 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 3, 2020 at Marion First Baptist Church.
