Bobby Levi
Morgan
Dec 13, 1930 — Dec 30, 2021
Ruston
Bobby was a "jack of all trades". He was blessed with so many talents. He could design anything he wanted to make or build. He built sheds for his projects, tractors, boats, cars, and many pieces of equipment he could use around his home or for someone else to use. His mechanical talent was endless. He had a passion for antique cars and trucks. He repaired, restored, and built antique cars and trucks, some which he won 1 st place in antique car shows in different towns. Two cars were even used in the movie Blaze .
Even through debilitating pain, he had a sense of humor and a warm, friendly personality that kept men from everywhere coming to get help with their problems. This was all done "free of charge" as he felt this was just being a good neighbor by helping others. There was nothing he couldn't make if he wanted to, even down to making his own shoes, which he did for years, from the cow hide pattern to the last stitch on the shoes.
Bobby loved the Lord and lived a life that showed it. His love for the Lord, family, friends, and everyone he came into contact with was an example to others. He was a member of New Hope Baptist Church in Choudrant, La. He will be missed so very much by his family, friends, and others that knew him. Bobby was a wonderful husband, a great father and granddaddy, and a lovable great-granddaddy.
Bobby was born on December 13, 1930 in Minden, La. and passed away on December 30, 2021. He is preceded in death by his parents, Henry Lee Morgan and Mary L. Morgan; and his sister, Virginia Dale Bass and her husband, Harley Donald Bass from Minden, La.
He is survived by his wife of 70 years, June Elliott Morgan of Ruston, La.; his son Dan James Morgan and wife Cindy of Choudrant, La.; his granddaughters, Jennifer Lynne Platt and husband Jonathan, and Amy Michelle Tomasek and husband Robert, both of Ruston, La.; and great-grandchildren, Nicholas Tomasek and Aidan Platt.
Private family services will be held for Mr. Bobby Morgan.
