A graveside service for Mr. Billy Wayne Rhodes, age 75 of Spearsville, LA, will be held at 10:30 AM, Wednesday, November 27, 2024 at Rhodes Cemetery in Spearsville, L A with Jim Rhodes officiating under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home.

Billy was a graduate of Spearsville High School and joined the Navy. He was a Vietnam Navy veteran. After the Navy, Billy worked and retired as a Mud Logger. He attended Grambling State University Nursing School and was an airline pilot. He loved his animals especially Foxx, Limo, and Stretch. Billy loved his wife Pennie dearly and his family.

Billy was preceded in death by his parents: Minor and Hazel Brown Rhodes; brother: Marvin Rhodes; and stepson: Larry Garner, Jr.

He is survived by his wife of 29 years: Pennie Rhodes; two step daughters: Heather Brigham and Stacy Toyer (Lionel); grandchildren: Riley Brigham, Aubrey Brigham, Logan Toyer, Miles Toyer, Kohl Poche, Kristen Poche, and Kameron Poche; brother: Jim Rhodes (Betty); sister: Jane Barnes (Danny); and numerous nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held prior to the service from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM, Wednesday, November 27, 2024 at Farrar Funeral Home.
