A funeral service for Mr. B. J. Patton, Sr., 75, of Spearsville, La., will be held 10:00 a.m., Monday, May 16, 2022 at Camp Creek Baptist Church in Spearsville, La. with Bro. Rubin Weaver officiating. Interment will follow in Camp Creek Cemetery in Spearsville, La. under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Sunday, May 15, 2022 at Camp Creek Baptist Church in Spearsville, La.

B. J. Patton, Sr. was born August 21, 1946 and passed away May 12, 2022. B. J. was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed sharing his passion for the outdoors with his family. B. J. enjoyed tinkering and loved any challenge that came with it. If there was a hard way to do something, that was the way he would do it. He was also a member of the Farmerville Masonic Lodge. B. J. was loved by many and will be dearly missed.

B. J. was preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Velma Patton; and siblings, Warner Leon Patton, Edward Patton, Eloise Cooper, Verna Lou White, Marjorie Kennedy, Eunice Odom, Virginia White, and Dyann Patton.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Crystal Patton; children, Jody Patton (Dundy), Chad Patton (Melissa), Kristi Dunn (Raymond), and Chris Patton (Arica); grandchildren, Kaitlyn Spillers (Bruce), Isabella Patton, Brook Patton, Austin Patton, Haley Patton, Collin Patton, Riley Patton, Jaxon Dunn, and Jacob Dunn; siblings, James Guy Patton, Deloris Frantom, Shirley Berry (Ben), and Avis Ford; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other family members, and a host of friends.

Pallbearers will be Trey Patton, Brandon Thrash, Tom McMillan, Steve Plummer, Ryan Hanson, and Rex Skains. Honorary pallbearers will be Daniel Parker, Billy Patton, and Bill Patton.

The family would like to thank Steve "The Mailman" Plummer for being the dear friend he was to B.J.
