Obituary

Funeral services for Billie Jean Taylor Crow will be held July 24 at 2:30, at the Farmerville United Methodist Church with Bro. Hank Hamilton officiating. Interment will follow in the Farmerville City Cemetery under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home. Visitation will be held at 1:00p.m till, prior to the service at Farmerville United Methodist Church.

Billie Jean was born July 18, 1930 and went to be with her heavenly Father on July 21, 2022, at the age of 92. Billie was married to the late Dewitt Crow and together they started various businesses in the Farmerville area. Billie was not only a devoted wife but a devoted mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was also a faithful member of Farmerville United Methodist Church where she spent many years making lifetime friendships. Some of her happiest times there were spent singing in the church choir.

Billie is preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Dewitt Crow, her infant daughter, and her son in law Steve Isaac. Also preceding her are her mother and father Firmy and Mattie Lee Taylor, and her six siblings; Effie Lee Gulley, Willie Emmett Taylor, Jim Henry Taylor, Bobbie Williamson, Carl Taylor, and Sylvia Rockett.

She is survived by her children Roger Alan Crow and wife Jan of Nashville, Kathy Isaac of Farmerville, and John Crow of Farmerville. Her grandchildren; April Fuller and husband Chris of Farmerville; Stephen Isaac and wife Ashley, of Calhoun; Christy Mullen and husband Philip of Nashville, Tennessee; Chad Crow and wife Ashley of Nashville, Tennessee; and John David Crow and Witt Crow of Farmerville. Great grandchildren include Baylee Auger, Alden Auger, Tyler Mullen, Blake Mullen, Madison Mullen, Kiersten Isaac, Kenzlie Isaac, Kolby Isaac, Nathan Crow, Owen Crow, and Miles Crow; her brother Jerry Taylor of Farmerville and her sister-in-law Mattie Crow of Farmerville and many nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

The family would also like to thank Abor Lake Nursing Home and staff, Doctor Steve Unkel, Union General Hospital, sitters and aides; Penny Black, Jody Whatley and Anya Traylor.

Serving as pallbearers will be Chad Crow, Alden Auger, John David Crow, Raleigh Neely, Scotty Booth, and Kelly Taylor.
