Graveside services for Mrs. Betty Jean Taylor, age 91 of Bernice, LA will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, November 1, 2025 at Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery with Bro. Robert Lee. Services will be under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home.

Betty was a graduate of Bernice High School. She was a military wife to her husband, "Mickey, for 25 years and was a homemaker. Betty was a member of Mt. Sterling Baptist Church and was a loving mother and grandmother.

Betty was preceded in death by husband of 59 years, Crewson "Mickey" Taylor; parents, Jackson Wright and Pearl Dison Stirling; and her son, Ronald Edgar Taylor.

She is survived by her three daughters, Patricia Walsh (Gerald), Martha Lee, and Marjorie Barker (Gary); grandchildren, Jennifer Matak (Patrick), Robert Lee (Leah), Bonnie Lee (Corey), Stephen Barker, and Shawn Barker; great grandchildren, Sydney Matak, Alexis Matak, Ava Lee, Crewson Lee, Norah Lee, Etta Lee, Quincy Lee, Olivia Lee, Judson Lee, and Ian Lee.

Visitation will be held at 1:30 PM, prior to the service, at Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery, Saturday, November 1, 2025.
