A funeral service for Betty Joyce Bryant, 77, of West Monroe, La., will be held 10:00 a.m., Saturday, July 9, 2022 at Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Laran, La. with Bro. Adam Holloway officiating. Interment will follow in Laran Cemetery in Laran, La. under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Friday, July 8, 2022 at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel in Farmerville, La.
Betty Joyce Bryant, born December 15, 1944, passed away on Wednesday, July 6, 2022. Betty was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend. She loved her family very much and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Betty loved to paint and do arts and crafts as well as researching the genealogy of her family. Betty was dearly loved and will be missed by many.
Betty is preceded in death by her husband, Max Delane Bryant; parents, Bill and Bessie Forrest; sisters, Geneva Tarkington and her husband Charles and Edna Foster and her husband Bobby.
Betty is survived by her children, Jerry Bryant and wife Sally, Dana Bradshaw and husband Jeff, Sherri Ellis and husband Steven, and Pamela Stephens and husband Zach; grandchildren, Cody Bryant, Kaitlyn Bryant, Blake Bryant, Matthew Bullock, Mallory Bullock, Allen Cook, Alexis Cook, Olivia Stephens, Travis Stephens, and Max Stephens; along with many other family, friends, and other relations.
Pallbearers will be Matthew Bullock, Allen Cook, Randy Bowman, Chris Canterberry, Brandon Thorpe, and Brian Jester.
