Betty Scarborough
Baker
Oct 6, 1940 — Aug 10, 2022
Marion
A graveside service for Mrs. Betty Scarborough Baker, 81, will be held August 12, 2022 at 10:00 a.m., at Concord Cemetery in Marion, La, under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home.
Betty's life revolved around her family. She looked forward to the many Sunday lunches with all her family. She loved to travel with her companion and special friend George Herring. What would normally be a three-hour drive would turn into six because Betty loved stopping at every garage sale. She loved sunsets, sunrises and God's Creations. She loved being outdoors whether it was weeding or watering flowers, or even adding new plants to the multitude of existing ones.
She is preceded in death by her husband Benny Baker, her parents Clint and Myrt McKinnie Scarborough, two brothers Larry Scarborough and Doyle Scarborough, sister-in-law Pat Scarborough, son-in-law George Futch and grandson Kendale Ebarb.
She is survived by her daughter Cheryl Futch and fiancé Keith Bowen, Flo Ebarb and husband Ken and Debra Lusby and husband Dale. Grandchildren Brook Monroe, Ryan Futch and wife Cassy, Kennan Wesley and husband Dupree and Trey Lusby and wife Morgan. Great grandchildren Noah Monroe, Avery Futch, Autumn Futch, Elijah Ebarb, Cameron Hill, Lillie Ebarb, Kenslea Hill and Gavin Lusby. Her faithful and special companion of 34 years George Herring.
Special thanks to Christina Jackson with Dr. Yarbrough's office, STAT Home Health and St. Joseph Hospice.
