Funeral services for Belenda K. Holley, 53, of Marion will be held at 2:00pm, Sunday, March 17, 2019 at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Glyn Nale and Jamie Orten officiating. Interment will follow in Bird's Chapel Cemetery, in Truxno, under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home in Farmerville.
Mrs. Holley passed away on March 14, 2019. Belenda was a lifelong resident of Union Parish and a member of Meridian Baptist Church. Belenda was a personal assistant to many families in Union Parish, taking on many responsibilities and activities for them. She had a strong work ethic and was a valued friend, loving many people. Her cooking was well known in the area and also her love of animals. She took care of many of her children's friends, loving them and spoiling them as her own. Belenda was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
Mrs. Holley was preceded in death by her parents, Virgil H. Simms and Kathleen Jones; and one brother, Lynn.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 24 years, Johnny Holley of Litro, La.; two sons, Timothy "T.J." Bracknell (Robin) of Choudrant, La. and Zachary "Zack" Holley (Savannah) of W. Monroe, La.; four daughters, LaDonna Langley (Sam) of Downsville, La., Catina Culpepper of Sweeny, Tx., Brittaney Carson (Andrew) of South Haven, Ms. and Cecilia Massman of Golindia, Tx.; fourteen grandchildren, Jacub, Destiny, Kaden, Ethan, Olivia, Lily, Merissa, Natalie, Aiden, Anna, Sammy, Isabella, Aubrey, and Rain; a host of brothers and sisters; three granddogs, Luna, Rhett and Hank; and numerous other family and friends.
Pallbearers will be John Bracknell, Jamie Berry, Casey Berry, Quinton Bracknell, Ricky Kilcrease, Ben Geoghagen, Scott Sibley and Jeffrey Russell.
Honorary pallbearers are Billy Manning, Keith Sellers, and Johnny Green.
Visitation will be from 4:00p.m. – 7:00p.m., Saturday, March 16, 2019 at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel in Farmerville.
